Who Is Our IOP For?
Our IOP is for adults who are high-functioning on the outside, but overwhelmed on the inside. If you’re facing any of the following, we can help:
Persistent anxiety, panic, or depressive symptoms
Major life transitions (job loss, postpartum, divorce)
Burnout or emotional numbness
Struggling to function despite ongoing therapy
Recently discharged from a higher level of care
Why Choose Us?
We know there are plenty of IOPs out there, but not all care is created equal. Here’s what makes our program different:
Boutique feel, big impact
We’re a private practice, not a hospital system. That means small groups, more attention, and care that feels human.
We meet you where
you are
Whether this is your first time in treatment or your tenth, you’re welcome here.
Evening sessions that
fit real life
Our IOP was built for working professionals, caregivers, and busy adults.
Real tools, not just talk
Evidence based DBT, CBT, and mindfulness skills you’ll actually use.
Insurance accepted,
without sacrificing quality
We work with Florida Blue, BCBS, Cigna, AETNA, Optum and United.
What is an IOP?
An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) gives you more than once-a-week therapy without requiring a hospital stay. You’ll attend structured group and individual sessions, learn powerful coping tools, and return home each day with real support in place.
An IOP is often the right fit if:
- Traditional therapy isn't enough
- You’re struggling to maintain daily functioning
- You’re trying to avoid hospitalization but need structure
- You’re transitioning out of inpatient care
Here for you.

What Do Patients Do at an IOP?
An intensive outpatient program may sound imposing, but while the therapy is intensive, the program itself is very welcoming. At With, we make our IOP a comfortable, judgment-free space – think less of a doctor’s office and more of a cozy living area. Here’s what most of our patients experience at our IOP.
Frequently Asked Questions About Our IOP
What does your IOP in Tampa include?
An IOP is a structured mental health treatment program that provides more support than traditional therapy, but doesn’t require overnight stays. It typically includes group therapy, individual sessions, and psychoeducation multiple times a week.
Who should consider an IOP?
Our IOP is ideal for adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or burnout—especially if weekly therapy isn’t enough or after a hospital or inpatient stay. It’s designed for people who need more support but still want to live at home and maintain work or family responsibilities.
How long does your IOP last?
Most clients attend the program for 6–8 weeks, though this may vary depending on your individual needs. We’ll work with you to build a customized care plan that fits your schedule and goals.
Can I join your IOP while working full time?
Yes. We offer evening sessions and virtual options so you can participate in treatment without putting your life on hold.
Is your IOP covered by insurance in Florida?
Yes. We currently accept Aetna, Cigna, Florida Blue, and United Healthcare for our IOP. Our team can help you verify coverage and explain your benefits before you begin.
What’s the difference between an IOP and inpatient treatment?
Inpatient treatment requires you to stay at a facility 24/7. IOP allows you to receive intensive mental health support while continuing to live at home, go to work, and care for your family.
How do I get started?
You can start by contacting our team through the contact form or calling us directly. We'll schedule a free consultation to learn more about your needs and determine if our IOP is a good fit.
Do you offer evening IOP sessions in Tampa?
Yes! At With Behavioral Health, we offer evening IOP sessions to make treatment more accessible for working professionals, parents, and busy adults. Our typical evening schedule runs weekdays from 5:30–8:30 PM, allowing you to get the support you need without disrupting your job, school, or family responsibilities.
Located in Tampa and serving nearby areas like Brandon, Wesley Chapel, Clearwater and St. Petersburg, we’re committed to making mental health care fit your life, not the other way around.
