Skill to help. Compassion to support.

Our Services

At With, we specialize in helping individuals struggling with a range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Our IOP programs run 3 hours per day, 3-4 days per week, allowing patients to return to the comfort of their homes, schools, or workplaces.

For treatment, we use a few different types of evidence-based approaches.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a psychotherapeutic approach widely utilized in the treatment of various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. It focuses on identifying and addressing the patterns of distorted thinking and the beliefs that contribute to irrational emotions and behaviors associated with mental illness.

Central to CBT is the recognition that thoughts and feelings significantly influence behavior. By gaining mastery over one’s thoughts and emotions, individuals can exert greater control over their actions.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical behavior therapy equips patients with valuable skills to effectively manage intense emotions and reduce relational conflicts. It emphasizes both fostering change and acceptance. The term “dialectic” underscores the idea that opposing perspectives can coexist and be valid simultaneously. This principle proves particularly beneficial for individuals undergoing treatment for mood disorders, as many tend to adopt a rigid “all or nothing” mindset.

DBT resonates with individuals in recovery as it encourages them to acknowledge their challenges while actively working towards improvement. Through DBT, patients learn to transcend binary thinking patterns, such as the belief that recovery is either fully achieved or forever out of reach, which can be common with those that are struggling.
